I found this beautiful amoeboid in sediments of a small pond with waterlilys near the village of Huizen in the Netherlands. It came up in some numbers in a wet mount kept for two days in a moist chamber. The filopodia never showed any granules or extrusomes, though sometimes a granule came into the base. The cell body was very deformable. The body seemed to contain green inclusions, but it was impossible to get more information about the structure and origin of this color.
