Awerintzewia levis Dekhtyar, 1994
Diagnosis: Test ovoid, but slightly compressed; pseudostome relatively small, broad elliptical with regular edge without lateral incision. Test covered with irregular flat mineral foreign plates, embedded in organic cement like roof tiles. Plates are larger towards the fundus.
Dimensions: Length 168-192 µm; width 120-129 µm; pseudostomal diameter 48 µm.
Ecology: Sphagnum in a spring. Russia.
Remarks: This species resembles a Schwabia species, but those species are much smaller. Dehktyar does not give any description of the pseudopodia.
