Difflugia amphoralis  Cash et Hopkinson, 1909

Diagnosis: The shell is transparent, with a short, pointed fundus, sometimes featuring a short outgrowth. It is covered with medium-sized mineral grains. The contour is relatively smooth, and the pseudostome is round, bordered by a ring of small mineral grains.

Dimensions: Cash and Hopkinson (1909): Shell length 109 µm; width 62 µm; aperture diameter 28 µm.

Habitat: Freshwater. Europe.
