Difflugia mammella Laminger, 1971

Diagnosis: Test broadly ovoid or bag-shaped, fundus with a rounded nipple-shaped outgrowth. Test convex in the middle of the length, but narrows aboral. Commonly, one side is less convex than the other. Pseudostome round. The shell resembles a female breast, hence the name.

Dimensions: Length 293–388 µm, width 244–303 µm, diameter pseudostome 147–219 µm, bud 10-33 µm.
Ecology: Freshwater. Sediment First Finstertal lake, Austria.
