Difflugia masaruzzii  Van Oye, 1958

Diagnosis: Shell more or less ovoid with lateral sides almost parallel, without collar, transparent, covered with flat xenosomes. Pseudostome round, wide.

Dimensions: Van Oye (1958): Shell length 72-78 µm; width 44-50 µm; pseudostome diameter is 28-30 µm; L/W ratio 0.56-0.69 (n=2)

Habitat: Freshwater. In sediment. Congo, Africa.
