Difflugia solowetzkii Mereschkowsky, 1879

Diagnosis: Test pyriform, with a narrowing after the pseudostome, which then expands into a fundus, ending in a point. Covered with mineral grains. Pseudostome round.

Dimensions: Length 80–100 µm, width 30–35 µm, diameter pseudostome 15–18 µm.

Ecology: Freshwater.

Remarks: Probably synonymous with D. elegans.
