Difflugia tenuis  (Penard, 1890) Chardez, 1983

Diagnosis: Shell cylindrical or slightly pear-shaped, fundus often more angular than rounded, very transparent due to a covering of very flat xenosomes.

Dimensions: Chardez (1983): Shell length 40-60 µm; width 20-35 µm.

Ecology: Freshwater. Europe.
