Naardermeer Noord

This location is an isolated ditch in the nature reserve Naardermeer, in the northern part. My samples came from aquatic plants and from bottom sediments. They were rich on iron bacteria. The exact location is: GPS 52.30460, 5.11635 (see arrow). The site is located in the centre of the Netherlands.

Remarkable species in this ditch:

  • Difflugia microclaviformis
  • Arcella (robusta) formosa
  • Clathrella foreli
  • Cucurbitella vlasinensis
Sample location indicated by arrow.
