Plagiopyxis declivis cyclostoma, after Stepanek, 1967
Plagiopyxis declivis var. cyclostoma Stepanek, 1967
Diagnosis: Stepanek writes that “the incorporation of this individual is very problematic. If we want to include this form in the species Plagiopyxis declivis, the question arises whether it is possible that the representative of this species could have such a wide open mouth, or rather, whether one could assume such great variability. It differs from the species Centropyxis ecornis in the shape of the shell near the mouth opening. For the time being I think it most advantageous to assign this variety to the species Plagiopyxis declivis.”
