Pyxidicula gibbosa Schönborn, 1966

Diagnosis: Shell hemispherical, with a relatively thick wall, with many undulations and clearly punctuated. Shell yellow. Aperture as large as the diameter of the shell. Cytoplasm fills the shell, nucleus with central nucleolus.

Dimensions: Schönborn: 60.2-68.6 µm (n-5), height 50.2-50.4 µm.

Habitat: Freshwater, Sweden.
