Genus Corythionella Golemansky, 1970
Diagnosis: test ovoid, dorso-ventrally compressed, large circular collar, fundus rounded, with elongate, siliceous, internally formed plates, irregularly arranged as in Corythion, the plates of the collar are smaller.
Type species Corythionella pontica Golemansky, 1970.
Five described species.
Habitat: marine interstitial.
Remarks: A similar genus is Pseudowailesella Sudzuki (1979).
