Apodera crenata Jung, 1942
Diagnosis: Shell retort-shaped, in cross-section circular, almost colorless, yellowish, with a net-like structure and a curved neck. The constriction between neck and main body is thin. Pseudostome irregularly lobed with thickened edge.
Dimensions: According to Jung (1942): Shell length 93 μm; width 39 μm; aperture 20 μm; neck 23 μm (n = 1). My measurements: Length 113—126 μm; width 44—48 μm; aperture 14—20 μm; neck 33—36 μm (n = 3)
Habitat: Sphagnum, Chili. I found it in litter, collected at 3000m a.s.l. in Ecuador.
