RETICULOMYXA FILOSA
Dracomyxa spec. main cell body with plasma strands

Dracomyxa sp.

This specimen was observed in wet Sphagnum from Germany. It had few very long granoreticulopodia, up to 5 mm. The cell body was c. 300 µm. This body mass could stream through one long pseudopodium and split up in smaller bodies along its pseudopodia. The cell body was covered by a thin tectum which was clearly visible when plasma strands left the body. I’m not sure wether this is an undescribed species or Dracomyxa pallida.
