Frenzelina minima Hoogenraad, 1910

Diagnosis: test membranous, hemispherical or nearly spherical, with an more or less open ventral face; very small mineral grains attached to the membrane; test in dorsal view usually elliptical; plasmabody broad-elliptical  or more or less kidney-shaped; fine filopodia; nucleus vesicular with central nucleolus.

Dimensions: test 17-26 µm; body 12-17 µm.

Habitat: between aquatic plants, in Sphagnum and on debris; the Netherlands.
