Genus Lamtoquadrula Bonnet 1974

Diagnosis. Shell flask-shaped, neck bent, test and aperture in cross-section circular, covered with rectangular calcite plates (idiosomes) as in Paraquadrula. Aperture with a thin transparent organic lip, only visible with phase or interference contrast.

Habitat. sometimes abundant in humus on calcium-rich amphibolite rocks and tropical gallery forests. Geographical distribution: Ivory Coast.
