Lesquereusia globulosa Thomas & Gauthier-Lièvre, 1959

Diagnosis: Main part of the test spherical, not compressed, with a large but short cylindrical neck. Shell embedded with elongated xenosomes.

Dimensions: According to Thomas & Gauthier-Lièvre (1959): Shell length 145 µm; diameter 118 µm; neck 30—35 µm; pseudostome 50 µm.

Habitat: Freshwater. Rivers and marshes.

Geographical distribution: Africa, Gabon (Thomas and Gauthier-Lièvre, 1959).
