Padaungiella americana (Taranek, 1882) Kosakyan et al., 2025

Diagnosis: Shell lageniform in broad view, with a circular or slightly elliptic main posterior body, a distinct elongated neck, circular in cross-section, with either subparallel or slightly convex margins. Shell transparent, composed of elliptical or circular plates. Pseudostome circular in frontal view.

Dimensions: According to Taranek (1882): Shell length 90—130 µm.

Habitat: Forest litter.

Geographical distribution: Czech Republic.
