Diagnosis: Shell membranous, dome -shaped, covered with many small xenosomes, in dorsal view broad oval; pseudostome large with a broad edge; pseudopodia numerous, conical shaped and tapering into a sharp point. Nucleus and contractile vacuoles not observed.

Dimensions: c. 86 µm long and 65 µm wide (n=2).

Habitat: moss on rock in wood, Saarburg, Germany.

Remarks: It is questionable whether this is a Phryganella species, but for the moment  I don’t see any other options.
