Pompholyxophrys ossea Dürrschmidt, 1985

Diagnosis: Perles rod-like and hollow; long elements 6-8 µm, tubular and slightly bent with tapered tips or broader with broadened central part and rounded tips; short elements 1-3 µm, bone-shaped with thickened tips.

Type locality. New Zealand.
