Rhizaspis parvipunctata (Penard, 1902)

Diagnosis: Membrane finely and regularly punctate with a few minute scales. Nucleus single, small. Pseudopodia numerous, straight.

Dimensions: Length 50 µm.

Ecology: Among aquatic plants.

Remarks: The taxonomic status of this species is unclear. It might be a Lecythium, Sacciforma or Pseudodifflugia species as well, or belong to the genus described by Jung (1942) as Schwabia.
