Rhizaspis
Rhizaspis spec., with small spines

Rhizaspis spec.

Diagnosis: These small specimens were found by Angie Opitz, Austria, in a seven month old sample from a peat bog. They were all about 29-38 µm long, mean 32 µm.  They were not so compressed as typical for the genus. Maybe it’s a Lecythium species.
