

Genus Tracheleuglypha Deflandre, 1928
Diagnosis: test clear, elliptical, round in cross-section; with circular, overlapping scales; no spines ans no dentate apertural plates. Pseudostome circular, with short, sometimes dentate, organic collar, which is produced during fission to hold the opposed tests together. Nucleus ovular.
Ecology: herbivorous. Mosses, soil and aquatic vegetation.
