In the spring of 2014 I found two small specimens of Artodiscus saltans in a wet mount kept for some days in a wet chamber. They came from a sample from the Laegieskamp. Remarkable was the small size, between 5 and 10 µm. The shape of the body is constantly changing. Both specimens were moving very fast.
