Diagnosis:Shell largely spherical. Aperture oval, at the end of an invaginated tubular pseudostome. Ventral region of the pseudostome three-lobed, composed of fine mineral graines. Shell composed of polymorph mineral plates.

Dimensions: Diameter 95.6 µm (n=6); height 3/4 of its diameter; length of pseudostomal tube 43 µm; apertural diameter 22 µm; length of one of the lobes 18 µm.

Ecology: Soil, humus. Angola, Paraguay, Mexico.
