Microchlamys patella var. arctica (Penard, 1903)

Diagnosis: As for M. patella, but it differs in  the shape and structure of the dorsal membrane which shows a number of polygonal faces.

Dimensions: 37—43 µm.

Habitat: Mosses.

Geographical distribution: Green Harbour, Spitzbergen.
