Peru Tambopata River
Peru
The location of this site where I took some interesting samples is the Cocococha Lagoon, an old meander of the Tambopata River, where a giant otter family occurs. My samples came from aquatic plants, covered with detritus. The exact location is: 12º 49′ 05.72” S, 69º 15′ 42.74” W (see arrow). The site is located about 30 km south south west of Puerto Maldanado.
