Diagnosis: Multi-nucleated freshwater naked amoeba with fine, sometimes branching pseudopodia and rapid cytoplasmic movement. Hyaloplasm with shorter pseudopodia and thinner, longer trailing pseudopodia during locomotion. Nuclei ovoid, with one centric nucleolus.
