The specimens on this page were found by Angie Opitz in a sample from a sphagnum bog in Tirol (2015). They are remarkable because of the presence of zoochlorellae. Angie couldn’t test if they are true zoochlorellae, but they were present in all specimens in her sample. All specimens were between 120 and 130 µm in diameter.
