Difflugia crassa  Cash & Hopkinson, 1909

Diagnosis: Shell compressed and very broad proportionately to the length. Fundes curved with two to four short mamillary protuberances or conical blunt spines, which are not always symmetrically situated nor of uniform length.

Dimensions: Cash and Hopkinson (1909): Shell length without spines 300-350 µm; width 250-300 µm.

Ecology: Freshwater. Europa.
