Diplophrys archeri

Synonym? Elaeorhanis cincta Greeff, 1873
These cells are surrounded by xenosomes, just as described for Elaeorhanis cinta. I’ve seen cells with and without xenosomes,in the same samples, rising the question if Elaeorhanis isn’t identical to Diplophrys.
These cells are embedded in a mucous layer. Mucus envelope is arrowed
