Diagnosis: Shell flak-shaped, with undulations, compressed, completely organic, transparent, colourless to yellowish or brownish; two minute pores, one at each side, in the base of the neck; aperture usually with a thickened lip.
Dimensions: Literature: 75-116 µm; width 33-64 µm.
Habitat: among Sphagnum and moss.
