Hyalosphenia irregularis Decloitre, 1965

Diagnose. Shell ovoid, narrow elliptical in broad view, with a pointed posterior end, giving it an irregular shape. Shell transparent with a yellowish tinge. Aperture elliptical, narrow, thickened inwards.

Dimensions: Shell length 60–70 µm; width 45–50 µm; aperture 10–15 µm.

Ecology: Unknown. No detail was provided in the original description.
