Diagnosis: Shell hemispherical, in oral view circular; pseudostome large, but can be closed. Shell yellowish, opaque, flexible, with a thin layer of debris. Pseudopodia not observed.

Dimensions: Diameter approximately 30 µm.

Ecology: Numerous empty tests were present in Sphagnum in a moor in Haaksbergen, the Netherlands.
