Phryganella sp.?

Diagnosis: Shell membranous, dome -shaped, covered with many small xenosomes, in dorsal view broad oval; pseudostome large with a broad edge; pseudopodia numerous, conical shaped and tapering into a sharp point. Nucleus and contractile vacuoles not observed.

Dimensions: 40-96 µm in diameter (n=12).

Habitat: Mesotrophic pond, Crailoo, the Netherlands.

Remarks: It is questionable whether this is a Phryganella species.
