Pseudonebela heterodentata  (Dekhtyar, 1993)

Diagnosis: Shell transparent, generally rounded, sometimes slightly laterally compressed, and covered with flat, tightly packed sand grains and diatom fragments. Pseudostome circular, surrounded by a low, clear collar whose inner surface bears 6–8 teeth, although up to 12 large, well‑formed teeth may be present, along with rudimentary additional teeth appearing as small tips or tubercles.

Dimensions: Length 88–105 µm; width 72–96 µm; neck 16–17 µm; pseudostome 30–46 µm; L/W ratio 1.2.

Ecology: Freshwater.

Remarks: This species appears more compact than Pseudonebela rubescens and P. africana, to which it is closely related.
