Vexillifera lemani (Penard, 1902)

Diagnosis: Outline of locomotive form frequently triangular, broad anteriorly; 0-6, rarely more, long linear subpseudopodia, extending up to 7 µm or more beyond anterior edge of amoeba; nucleus 1.5 – 4.0 µm.

Dimensions: Length excluding subpseudopodia 8-24 µm (mean 13 µm).

Ecology: fresh water, Wannsee, Berlin.
