Difflugia immanata (Jung, 1942) Stepanek, 1954
Basionym: Acipyxis inflata forma immanata Jung, 1942

Diagnosis: Shell pyriform. Fundus with 1-2 hollow spikes on the side, closed at the ends with transparent quartz plates. Built from densely laid sand grains. Pseudostome round.

Dimensions: Jung (1942): Shell length 209-253 µm; width 128-172 µm; diameter pseudostome 58-835 µm.

Ecology: Freshwater. Chili.
