Chaos nobile (Penard, 1902) Bovee & Jahn, 1973

Diagnosis: Usually polypodial. Nuclei about 6-49, usually biconvex. Crystalls mainly bipiramidal. No cysts known.

Dimensions: Lenght about 240-820 µm (average 450-500 µm). Nuclei 15-23 µm.

Habitat: Freshwater. Europe, North-America.
