Nebela carinatella Beyens & Chardez, 1982

Diagnosis: Shell broad pyriform, with smooth rounded fundus; shell compressed, with two short lateral keels or wings in the curve between collar and shell body. Shell chitinoid, encrusted with polymorphic scales of endogenic origin.

Dimensions: According to Beyens and Chardez (1982): Shell length 69—87 µm (mean 79); width: 51—69 µm (mean 61).

Ecology and distribution. Small fen bogs.

Geographical distribution: Campina, Belgium.

Remarks: This is probably a Porosia species.
