Difflugia mica  Frenzel, 1892

Diagnosis: Shell ovoid, organic, loosely covered with small mineral platelets.

Dimensions: Frenzel (1892): Shell length 35-40 µm; width 25 µm.

Habitat: Freshwater, pond. Cordoba.

Remarks: The description was made after one single specimen.

Difflugia mica var. anulata  Schönborn, 1962

It differs from the typical form by the presence of a thick cushion around the mouth. The length of the test is 40–50 µm, the width of the test is 34–36 µm, the diameter of the pseudostome is 16–22 µm.
