Difflugia decloitrei Godeanu, 1972
Diagnosis: Shell ovoid, with obliquely truncated aperture, thumb-shaped, tapering from the middle to the pseudostome and fundus. Shell transparent, with smooth surface, covered with flat mineral grains; close to aperture these grains are much smaller. Between the larger mineral pieces there are much smaller ones. Fundus rounded or slightly ogivale. Pseudostome round and wide, about half the width of the test.
Dimensions: Godeanu (1972): Shell length 62-86 µm; width 40-56 µm, diameter of the pseudostome 20-23 µm; W/L ratio 0.62-0.66.
Habitat: Fresh water; Iran (Decloitre, 1965), Romania (Godeanu, 1972).
