Genus Centropyxiella  Valkanov, 1970

Diagnosis: Test with plagiostome, embedded with xenosomes. Border of the pseudostome bent outwardly, in contrary to Centropyxis where the border is bent inwardly.

All known species were found in brackish or marine habitats.
