Diagnosis: Spine scales with two small unornamented teeth, and with a flattened scale base, lacking a fenestrated ridge; plate scales usually circular. Large perforations in the plate scale of nonuniform size, irregularly arranged; minute perforations absent from distal plate; plate scales sometimes elliptical.
