Diagnosis: The shell is more or less circular in dorsal view, in lateral view lower than hemispherical. Shell covered with a small amount of xenosomes. Aperture round, located at the bottom of the funnel.
Dimensions: According to Schönborn (1966): Shell diameter 65—68 µm; height: 32—40 µm; diameter aperture 21—22 µm; concavity of the pseudostomal funnel 9—10 µm.
Ecology: Soil.
Geographical distribution: National Park Abisko, Sweden.
