Cyclopyxis penardi (Penard, 1911) Deflandre, 1929
Diagnosis The shell is very large, in lateral view lower than hemispherical, in dorsal view rounded. The dorsal side is arched. The ventral surface is concave, in its center with a rounded pseudostome, the diameter of which is almost half the diameter of the test. The shell is covered with small flat xenosomes.
Dimensions: Shell diameter 330—380 µm.
Ecology: Freshwater.
