Cyclopyxis quadratus Decloitre, 1979

Diagnosis: Square shell with rounded corners. Covered with small, almost circular plates, aperture not invaginated, with nearly circular edges.

Dimensions: According to Decloitre (1979): Shell 35—40 × 35—40 μm, height 15—20 μm, diameter of aperture 10—15 μm.

Ecology: In leaf litter of Virginia creeper and Judas tree.

Geographical distribution: In the Var, France.
