Difflugia levanderi  Playfair, 1917

Diagnosis: Shell lanceolate or mitriform, short and broad; dome shaped like a pointed arch, the sides arched and converging right down to the aperture. Aperture wide, circular, simple, without rim or collar. Shell rough with large flints, or chitinous with very small granules, aperture not specially margined.

Dimensions: Playfair (1917): Shell length 78-116 µm; width 51-78 µm; aperture 32-12 µm.

Habitat: Freshwater, Australia.
