Difflugia nana  Côuteaux, 1976

Diagnosis: Shell very small, spherical, or slightly longer than wide; without neck or collar, covered with relatively large xenosomes. Pseudostome rarely visible.

Dimensions: Couteaux (1976): Shell diameter 16—18 µm.

Ecology: In soil, often very abundant.

Geographical distribution: Europe, Africa.
