Diagnosis: Shell medium, transparent, hyaline pyriform, rounded in cross section, pseudostome of irregular shape, surrounded by a long collar.

Dimensions: Length 65-70 µm, width 54-59 µm, pseudostome diameter 22 µm.

Ecology: Freshwater.
