Difflugia pristis Penard, 1902

Diagnosis: Shell neatly ovoid, but more or less elongated, width about 2/3 or 3/5 of the length. Pseudostome circular, relatively small, surrounded by a circle of mineral grains. Nucleus spherical, 12-15 µm with relatively large central nucleolus.

Dimensions: Penard (1902): Shell length 45-65 µm.

Habitat: Freshwater. Switzerland.
